Welcome to the website of WE tour guides!

We are Blue Badge qualified tourist guides based in the South of England and we offer tailor-made tours and talks to groups of all sizes.

What’s so special about us?

Our style of guiding is informative and fun, and we have become well known for our imagination and creativity, whilst keeping a watchful eye on punctuality and organisation.

We regularly feature in the Windsor Festival programme.

Who are we

Debbie Keenan and Bobbie Latter met in 1999 while studying for the Southern Tourist Board’s NVQ Regional Blue Badge Guide Course. They have been guiding together in Windsor and the surrounding area since July 2001.

Before taking her Blue Badge qualification, Debbie taught history up to exam standard and currently leads the school tours in St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle where she has been a member of the Guild of Stewards for the past 13 years. Debbie is also a keen amateur actress and is involved in local pantomimes and plays. She is an active member of The Garden Players, a troupe that performs outdoor Shakespeare. Debbie has been a life-long member of The Richard III Society with a love of Mediaeval history.

Before studying for her Blue Badge, Bobbie worked for 16 years as a coach tour guide in Europe, escorting British and American groups on organised itineraries. She enjoyed using her 6 languages and story-telling skills during this time. She also became known for her unusual quizzes, jokes, yodelling, picnics and a red feather duster and was made an honorary member by the Rossyth Branch of the Normandy Veterans Association during two tours to visit the Normandy landing beaches. Her current passion is British Sign Language and the improvement of accessibility for Deaf people.

Both are members of the British Guild of Tourist Guides and the Institute of Tourist Guides.

They wrote a book together in 2004, published by Francis Frith, entitled “Windsor, A History and Celebration” and have created an e-book available on www.blurb.co.uk.
